Care Plus Foundation strives to build a brighter world for the 1 in 4 in our community suffering from a diagnosable mental illness - from depression and anxiety, to schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. We accomplish this by providing both direct support and advocacy.

11th Annual Courage Awards Dinner
Care Plus Foundation will honor two businesses and three individuals that have worked to decrease the stigma of mental illness at its 11th Annual Courage Awards Dinner. The dinner, which is accompanied by a silent auction and raffle, is the Foundation’s largest annual fundraiser and will be held on June 18, 2009 at Macaluso’s in Hawthorne, NJ. Cocktails and auction begin at 6pm, dinner and Courage Awards to follow at 7pm.

Striving For Independence
Meet
Aaron. Growing up Aaron didn’t have the support most of us
take for granted to help reach our life goals. But Aaron
wasn’t about to let that stop him. He had the goals, he just
needed someone to believe in him, to give him a chance at turning
his goals into reality.
He found that support through Care Plus NJ’s Strive for Independence Program. Strive offers stable, transitional housing for youth that have aged out of the foster care system. MORE...
