Care Plus Foundation Supported By A.N.G.E.L.S

November 2008, Paramus, NJ

On Sunday, November 9th at the Starlight Dance Center in Nutley NJ Reach Out, Inc's A.N.G.E.L. Initiative hosted an evening of live entertainment to benefit the Care Plus Foundation.

The dynamic evening promise was memorable, with special performances by comedian Jackie Monahan; the wildly popular, all-female cabaret style performance troupe All The Kings Men; and Reform Records Recording Artist Lori Michaels.  Special Guest Emcee is Amy Tee.

Reach Out, Inc.’s A.N.G.E.L. Initiative was created to help those dealing with their own thoughts of suicide and those struggling to live with someone who suffers from mental illness.  It’s also designed to educate and address the fear and ignorance stemming from not understanding the truth about mental illness.

“We’re excited to be involved with this dynamic evening and grateful for the generosity of the A.N.G.E.L. Initiative,” said Tara Augustine, Care Plus Foundation Executive Director.  The Foundation’s programming is designed to increase awareness and understanding throughout our community of important mental health related issues, thus decreasing the stigma attached for those suffering with mental health issues.  The support from A.N.G.E.L. will help us continue this important work.”
