Care Plus Foundation’s Circle of Friends
Brought Good Cheer To Local Children In Need
January 2008
Individual volunteers, Girl Scout troops and local businesses, all part of Care Plus Foundation’s Circle of Friends, came together to spread good cheer to foster children in need for the 2008 Holiday Season.
The children and their families were treated to home cooked
holiday meals thanks to the generosity and culinary talents of local community
members. The dining room was
beautifully decorated in a winter wonderland theme thanks to local scouting
troops.

“The outpouring of support from our community for these
children is overwhelming,” said
The children are part of Care Plus NJ’s Supervised Visitation Program which provides
a safe place for foster children to meet with siblings and parents from whom they have been separated. The Strive for Independence Program also received gift donations. The Strive Program prevents homeless for teenagers in our community.
